Refund Policy
Bar-Sto Precision Machine wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because our barrels are precision-fit parts, returns and refunds are handled as described below. This policy works together with our Return Policy.
Returns and refunds
- Returns are not accepted on any barrel or part that has been modified, fitted, fired or otherwise used.
- Returns received within 30 days of delivery receive a refund to the original payment method, less shipping and handling, a 5% credit card fee and a 20% restocking fee. Special-order items (extended, threaded or ported) are subject to an additional 30% restocking fee.
- Returns received 31 to 90 days after delivery receive store credit only, less a 20% restocking fee.
- No returns are accepted after 90 days.
- Custom-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, and must be paid in full in advance.
How to return an item
Call us at (605) 720-4000 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending anything back. Packages that arrive without an RMA number will be refused. Return items in their original condition and packaging, and include your order number. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, or if we shipped the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will repair, replace or refund the item at our cost, including shipping.
Order cancellations
Orders for in-stock items can be cancelled for a full refund before they ship. Custom and special orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun.
When you will receive your refund
We inspect returned items within 5 business days of receiving them. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Most banks post the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
Gunsmith fitting and diagnostic checks
If another gunsmith fits our product and you then have problems, you can send your firearm to us for a diagnostic check. The diagnostic fee is $50.00 plus return shipping, payable by check or money order. Any repairs are extra, and we will call you with an estimate before beginning any work. Please call for an RMA number before sending your firearm.
Lost packages
At checkout you can choose shipping with or without a signature. We are not responsible for, and will not replace or refund, a package that was shipped without a signature requirement and was reported lost or stolen after delivery.
