Our semi fit barrels are over sized compared to the factory barrel. The reason we do this is so our barrel locks up better and shoots more accurately than the factory barrel. In most cases our barrel will require some minor fitting. We do not make drop in barrels. We feel that you should get a better, more accurate barrel than the factory and you cannot get the higher standard of precision and accuracy from a drop in barrel. The fitting usually is very minor filing of a few areas. This is in our opinion a good thing, as you will get a better fit. If you have questions you can give us a call and we will be happy to help, if we can. We do offer the fitting of our barrels if need be.

There are not any certified gunsmiths near where I live. How much does it cost for you to do the fitting to the barrel. Also do I need to ship the handgun to you?
Yes we will need the whole firearm and a magazine as we will test fire also. Cost for the semi fit fitting charge is 65.00 plus return shipping of the firearm of between 60 to 80 dollars. For the Match Target fitting it is 215.00 plus return shipping. This does not include the barrel price.
I didn’t want to ask a stupid question and I looked all over your web site, but couldn’t find the answer to my question, so here it is…….what kind of accuracy can one expect from one of your semi-fit barrels VS one of your Match Target custom fit barrels? Thanks in advance……….
It depends on the firearm. The semi fit will usually shoot 1 1/2 or better at 25 yrds. It can shoot much better if it fits the firearm well. The MT if fit properly will shoot 1′ to 1 1/14 or better at 25yrds with good ammo.
